RABIES VACCINATION
To be recognized as valid, the primary vaccination against rabies must be carried out from 12 weeks of animals. The minimum age for primary vaccination is now harmonized in all Member States.
The antibodies establishment period is a minimum of 21 days. This data will be integrated during the primary vaccination in the passport of the animal by a veterinarian and used as a reference during inspections.
As a reminder: France will not permit entry or transit its territory from domestic carnivores not validly vaccinated against rabies. It therefore does not retain derogations provided for certain Member States.
